About Jerry Lazarus
In his early career, Jerry was a marketing professional in the corporate and
non-profit sectors. In 2004, he devoted himself to being a spiritual
counselor, speaker, and author. Jerry’s life-long passion in spirituality goes
back to his teenage years in India. Though raised a Christian, he also studied
Yoga teachings and Hinduism, and later earned a master’s degree in religion
and meditation.
Jerry’s new book, Dreams: Listening to the Voice of God, was released in
April 2011. He is the dream columnist for Venture Inward magazine and a
national speaker for the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.).
He teaches a course on dreams at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)
at Duke University.
In the past 15 years, he has taught such disciplines as yoga, meditation and
dreams, emphasizing a personal and experiential approach to divinity. He
offers workshops, speaking engagements, and individual counseling. He hosts
a weekly healing group, which is open to all.
